A few months are left before the international music contest Eurovision 2023. The organizers have already shown how they designed the huge stage.

The organization of the international song contest Eurovision-2023 this year fell on the shoulders of the Ukrainian and British committees. The lavish stage was designed by Grammy and MTV EMA designer and production designer Julio Jimede.

Julio Jimede said that the stage covers an area of ​​450 square meters, on which monitors are located. About 700 video tiles and more than 1,500 LED lights are embedded in the floor. In the first photos that appeared online, the scene is illuminated in blue, which reminded netizens of space style. The production director explained that the concept of this stage design is “union, celebration and community”. He tried to convey the similarities between Great Britain and Ukraine.

“Architecture draws its inspiration from the wide embrace opened to Ukraine, performers and guests from all over the world. I focused on cultural aspects and similarities between Ukraine and the UK. From music, dance and art to architecture and poetry”, – Julio Himeda told.

37 countries will participate in the 2023 competition. Their representatives will perform in two semi-finals and a final on May 9, 11 and 13, respectively.

Eurovision will be held in Liverpool at the M&S Bank Arena with a capacity of about 11,000 spectators. The slogan of the current contest – United by music – "United by music". Logo colorful electrocardiogram effect creating a chain of hearts in different colors – yellow, blue and purple and pink.

Ukraine, the winner of the previous competition, will be represented by TVORCHI with the song Heart Of Steel in the final on May 13th.
