The total death toll from the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 43,000.
This is reported by Reuters, citing statements from the two countries affected by the natural disaster. .
In particular, Turkey announced a minimum of 38,044 deaths. In turn, in Syria, the number of victims exceeded 5800. None of the countries officially announced the number of missing people.
Meanwhile, three people were rescued from the rubble of a destroyed building 248 hours after the earthquake. And after 260 hours, rescuers pulled out an 11-year-old boy.
