The Ministry of Health intends to decriminalize driving under the influence of marijuana

KAN TV reports that the Israeli Ministry of Health is pushing for changes to the law, according to which “ in certain cases” driving under the influence of cannabis will not be considered a criminal offense.

Under the new regulations, if a driver is found to have up to 3 nanograms of THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, in the body, he will not automatically be considered a violator of the law, if provided that he drives a private car and is not a new driver.
