The mayor of Elada distributes cigarettes to children

The mayor of the ultra-Orthodox city of Elad distributed cigarettes to children during the Purim festivities on Tuesday.
Yisrael Porush was caught on camera distributing cigarettes to teenagers. The video was posted on social media.
It shows a group of teenagers huddled around Porush as he handed out cigarettes, telling them there was “enough for everyone”.
In a telephone conversation with a KAN correspondent, Porush (son of Minister Meir Porush) said that there was a quiz at the event he attended, and everyone who answered correctly received a cigarette as a prize.
When asked to explain why he distributed cigarettes to children under 18, which is illegal in Israel, the call was cut off.
