Flu vaccine may be less effective: what is known

The flu vaccine used this year may be less effective, says Arutz Sheva.

Most patients are infected with H3N2 or the 'type A' strain ; which was included in the vaccine. However, this strain has reportedly undergone changes, and recent studies have shown that the vaccine was less effective against this strain in laboratory conditions.

Recall that, according to the Ministry of Health, 1,849 people were hospitalized with the flu. The Ministry of Health called on all citizens over 6 months to get vaccinated against influenza.
