Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported cyber espionage

The Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on espionage that was carried out outside the country for employees of the department using the Pegasus program. The investigation of these facts began in the fall of 2021 and ended in January 2022. According to the police, no one is following the diplomats now.

The agency did not name the countries where espionage was recorded. Diplomats reported that the information transmitted by telephone and listened to has the lowest level of secrecy. But it can be considered a matter of diplomatic secrecy, writes SecurityWeek.
