European Commission President's favorite pony died tragically

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, lost one of her pets – a pony named Dolly.

According to the German newspaper Bild, the pony was killed by a wolf.

Corpse the animal was discovered by husband von der Leyen in a pasture on the estate of Burgdorf-Beinhorn. Another frightened pony was nearby.

Ursula von der Leyen herself told the press that the whole family was “very upset”.

As noted, this is not the first incident with wolves in this area. Just ten days ago, three ponies were killed by wolves.
