Andrey Medvedev, the ex-commander of the PMC Wagner branch, illegally crossed the border from Russia to Norway.

According to Gulagu.net, once in Norway, former “Wagnerian” turned to law enforcement agencies and asked for protection and political asylum.

Medvedev claims that he was the commander of the 1st squad of the 4th platoon of the 7th assault detachment of the Wagner PMC. In particular, deserted fighter Yevgeny Nuzhin served under his command, and his head was smashed with a sledgehammer.

It is noted that Medvedev agreed to testify against PMC owner Yevgeny Prigozhin.
