The plan identifies priority projects in the countries of “Eastern partnership”.
Investment projects within the indicative investment plan of the TRANS-European transport network TEN-T include the construction in the countries of “Eastern partnership”, in particular in Ukraine, 4800 km by road and rail, six ports and 11 logistics centers.
This was during a meeting with the Director General of the European Commission, DG mobility and transport Henrik Hololei said Deputy Prime Minister Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze, the press service of the government.
Klympush-Tsintsadze noted that one of the priority directions of the government, including the countries of “Eastern partnership”, is the implementation of projects under the TRANS-European transport network TEN-T.
“The plan identifies priority projects in the countries of the Eastern partnership, particularly in Ukraine. In General, they will require about 13 billion euros of investment. On these means it is planned to construct 4,800 kilometers of roads and Railways, ports 6 and 11 logistics centers,” she said.
According to the Vice-Prime Minister, Ukraine counts on the support of the EU, and also for the early signing of the Agreement on common aviation area, which will give impetus to the development of Ukrainian aviation industry, as it will increase the number of flights and passenger traffic.

Hololei in turn, noted that the EU is interested to see Ukraine as one of the possible transport corridors in the important logistics project — the creation of a railway transport corridor between Europe and China, bypassing Russia.
