The body of an Israeli killed in Kazakhstan cannot be returned to Israel

The body of Levan Kodzhiashvili, an Israeli who was killed in Kazakhstan, has not yet been taken out of the country for burial in Israel.
According to Ynet, the body has not can be delivered to Israel, since the Almaty airport is still closed, flights from Israel and back are not made. The Foreign Ministry is studying the possibility of taking the body by land transport to one of the neighboring states of Kazakhstan, and from there by plane to Israel.
Recall that 21-year-old Israeli citizen Levan Kodzhiashvili was shot dead in Alma-Ata during mass protests on the night of January 8. According to his relatives, he went to work and, apparently, came under fire.
