A search party in Nepal has discovered the body of famous American skier Hilary Nelson near the top of Mount Manaslu in the Himalayas.
BBC reports.
49- year-old Nelson was walking down the mountain with her partner when she went missing. Rescuers found her body on the south side of the 8,163-meter peak on Wednesday. Earlier it was reported that Nelson fell into a crack in the glacier.
As noted, Hilary Nelson was considered one of the best climbers of her generation.
