This year marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda – dreamer and visionary who revived Hebrew as a living language. To commemorate this date, the World Zionist Organization's Repatriation Support Office is hostingthe largest Hebrew lesson in history.

The lesson will take place on May 29, 2022 in Jerusalem. It will be hosted online by renowned chef and TV presenter Gil Hovav, great-grandson of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda. He is assisted by repatriates from different countries who have become well-known artists in Israel, chefs, politicians and journalists. Thanks to a specially developed Internet platform, the lesson will be attended not only by the students of the Department's ulpans, but also by many thousands of Jews from all countries of the Diaspora.
