70% of Ukrainians are ready to buy shoes and clothes online. These products are the most popular goods in Ukraine for the online trade.

To buy online electronics and appliances ready more than half of Internet users, cosmetics — about 38%, toys and children products for more than 25%, food products — 24%.
“Interestingly, for the food category, 13% of respondents said that they would like to purchase this category, but do not have this capability. Most likely cause is lack of ease of the process of order and delivery of products in this category, as well as insufficient number of sites for such purchases,” — said in a release of GFK Ukraine.

It is noted that in 2018 the Internet was used by 66% of the population (61% in 2017), 34% make online purchases. The study showed that among online buyers above the proportion of women (53% vs. 48% among those who do not buy online), people with children (46% vs. 34%) and those with an income of “average” (69% vs. 58%). People older than 46 years accounted for only a quarter of online shoppers, whereas among those who do not buy goods online, they are more than a third — 34%.
