Tesla Shanghai plant produces an electric car every 34 seconds (Video)

Tesla's newly built factory in Shanghai, China is producing electric vehicles at a record rate. With 24/7 production, one electric vehicle rolls off the assembly line every 34 seconds.

The American automaker has released a 10-minute video showing the production of 18 Tesla Model Y electric crossovers, each of which is fully assembled in about 34 seconds.

Thus, if you work at this pace around the clock and seven days a week, the plant in Shanghai could produce about 1.5 million electric vehicles per year.

According to the head of Tesla Elon Musk, in December, the first batch of Model 3 electric vehicles already rolled off the assembly lines of the enterprise. youtube.com/embed/XYnnyP-O4FA?wmode=transparent&ab_channel=WuWa&jqoemcache=0ykTp” title=”tesla” width=”425″>
