Debate of candidates for the post of British Prime Minister unexpectedly broke off on Tuesday, cutting off the speech of British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss in mid-sentence.

Televised debate of British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and Ex-Finance Minister Rishi Sunak was broadcast live on TalkTV and on the website of The Sun newspaper. The broadcast was stopped after a loud falling sound was heard on the air. The live video was replaced by a screensaver with a warning about technical difficulties.
