Shlomo Sixt launches “Shlomo Sixt Share” car sharing service by winning a municipal tender in Tel Aviv.
The launch event took place in Hanita Parking Reading in the presence of Shlomo Sixt Board Chairman Assi Schmelzer, Tel Aviv Deputy Mayor Mital Lehbi and Assaf Harel, board member and project initiator. The project complements the Auto-Tel service already operating in the city and expands the variety of services. It is designed for residents who do not have a personal car to travel long distances. The new service operates through an application that the customer downloads to their mobile phone and through which they can quickly contact the service.
Using the app, the customer will be able to find an available and nearby car, unlock it from their mobile phone and contact the service support. Using the service requires a short and simple registration in the application and does not involve a subscription fee. The cost of the service is transparent and affordable. It includes the cancellation of liability in the event of an accident. Shlomo Group plans to expand the service to additional cities using the company's fleet of 12,000 vehicles.
The service package for the next four months is 100 shekels for 4 hours plus 60 km, the usage fee is 79 shekels, and starting from the fourth hour for use – 4.5 shekels, including VAT and fuel. Digital card holders will receive a 10% discount for using the service.
