 Tel Aviv: Clashes occurred at Kaplan Intersection

Hundreds of demonstrators came out on the evening of February 27 to protest in Tel Aviv against the overnight riots in Hawara.

According to Israeli media, the protesters were waving Palestinian flags and held signs calling against the “occupation”.

Clashes erupted when the police tried to clear the road at the Kaplan junction. No arrests have been reported so far.

It was previously reported that one A man was arrested on suspicion of spraying pepper spray. A teenager was also detained, who tried to snatch the Palestinian flag from a demonstrator and hit the protester.
