The Walla news site reports that a large-scale international diplomatic effort has been launched to secure the return to the family of the body of Tyrant Fero, a Druze youth whose remains were stolen from a hospital in Jenin by terrorists.

Citing Israeli and Western sources, Walla writes that the UN envoy to the Middle East, Thor Vennesland, even appealed to the leaders of the terrorist group “Islamic Jihad”; in Damascus.

United States Security Coordinator Gen. Michael Penzel was also involved in coordination with the Palestinian Authority, the report said. It is noted that the PA security services were ordered to try to facilitate the return of the body.

According to the IDF and Palestinian media, Fero was seriously injured in a car accident in Jenin and was taken to a local hospital on Tuesday, where he died, and his body was stolen by unidentified gunmen.

At the core of the diplomacy was Israel's and the IDF's warning that if the body was not returned, Israel would launch a large-scale operation in Judea and Samaria, the report said.
