The Israel Institute of Technology (Technion), together with Rambam and philanthropists Andy and Larry Wolfe, announced their intention to establish the Wolfe Center for Translational Medicine and Engineering.
This is reported by The Jerusalem Post.
It is noted that the new center will be designed to encourage collaboration between doctors, scientists and engineers.
“The new center will allow us to convince doctors involved in complex, demanding clinical environment, continue to work in a large medical center, providing opportunities for cutting-edge research,” said Michael Halberthal, CEO of Rambam.
