After revealing that he intends to direct in television, director Quentin Tarantino told Who's Talking With Chris Wallace that his next film will definitely be his last.
After much speculation surrounding Tarantino's desire to end his illustrious career, the director took on the popular Who's Talking With Chris Wallace and announced that his tenth film would be the last he would ever make. “I've been doing this for 30 years and it's time to end the show,” he said. br /> During the conversation, Tarantino explained that he always compared the act to climbing mountains: Everest, Glimangero and Fuji, on which he spent a lot of time. But the moment has come when his claims as an artist should leave audiences with a taste for more. He also added that he doesn't want to lose touch with fans or current trends.
“I don't want to turn into an old man who doesn't understand what's going on, I already feel like such an out of touch old man, when I watch modern films that have just come out,” he said.
Although during the conversation he stated that the tenth film will be the last one he will make, he still does not know what he will do. “I'm in no hurry to make this last film,” he said, “I'm doing a few more things, including my book, and after that I'll know what the next film will be.”
