Syrian and Russian warplanes conduct military exercises

The Syrian Ministry of Defense released a statement on Tuesday that Syrian and Russian warplanes had conducted a joint exercise that was initiated amid increased Israeli strikes.
The exercise took place near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in southern Syria, as well as in northern and eastern Syria.
Two Russian Su-35 fighters and six Syrian MiG combat aircraft took part in the exercise . The scenario of the exercises included working out the situation of a collision with hostile virtual aircraft and drones.
The Ministry of Defense reported that during the training air battles, Syrian aircraft managed to destroy virtual targets.
