 Synagogue in Ukraine hit by Russian shelling

On Monday, January 31, a Russian shell hit a 113-year-old synagogue in the city of Gulyaipole, Zaporozhye region.

The building was damaged.

” I expect the world leaders to vehemently condemn this criminal act”, — said Rabbi Moshe Asman.

Israeli MP Zeev Elkin also condemned the attack on the synagogue, stressing that his family is from Gulyaipole and used to pray in this very synagogue.
