On the night of December 25, the Swiss city of Porrentruy, bordering France, was struck by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1.
According to SRF, the epicenter was 14 km from the city.
The tremors were felt throughout most of the country. The hearth was located at a depth of about 5.9 km.
Information about the victims and destruction has not yet been received.
