Sweden accuses two men of spying for Russia

Swedish prosecutors on Friday charged two brothers with major espionage for Russia.

The prosecutors stressed that the alleged crime could harm the security of the Scandinavian country. The Jerusalem Post reported.

The men, aged 42 and 35, have been in custody since last year and have previously denied all charges.

“The suspicion relates to a very serious crime against the Swedish intelligence and security systems. The crime is serious because it concerns circumstances of great importance,” the Swedish prosecutor's office said.
