Suspicion of a terrorist attack: a car exploded at the intersection of Megiddo

A young man in his 20s was severely injured in a car explosion at the Megiddo Junction this morning, March 13th. The police launched an investigation into the incident and began to collect the first data from the scene. According to initial suspicions, the cause of the incident is sabotage activities with nationalist overtones.
Around 06:00 am, the MDA received a report of an explosion on Highway 65, near the Megiddo prison in the direction of Afula. Arriving at the scene of the incident, doctors and orderlies provided medical assistance to a 21-year-old young man, a resident of the village of Salem, who was seriously injured. The MADA team evacuated him to the hospital in full consciousness with penetrating wounds.
Police forces, who were called to the scene immediately after receiving the report, began investigating the incident, background and circumstances. Highway 65 is closed to traffic, police are directing drivers to alternative routes. From the preliminary investigation of the incident, it follows that the prerequisites for the explosion were nationalist, not criminal.
