Surviving officer: “I tried to save my friends”

The name of the Atalef helicopter who survived the crash has become known officer – it turned out to be Captain Ron Berman.

The survivor made the first statement after the tragedy and said that he tried to save his friends – Eraz Sakhyani and Hen Vogel, who died in the plane crash.

“I was able to get out of the sinking helicopter, and then, after many attempts to save my friends, I was rescued by the naval patrol,” Berman said.

The officer expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. >
