At the age of 70, a Russian actor, a native of Ukraine, Valery Grishko, passed away. He gained fame thanks to his roles in the films "Streets of Broken Lights", "Leviathan" and “Deadly Power”.
The cause of death is reported to have been a prolonged illness. The death of the artist was announced by State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein in his Telegram channel.
“Recently, he was seriously ill. Unfortunately, the disease was stronger. I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Valery Viktorovich. His departure – a huge loss for domestic art”, & ndash; the politician commented.
It is known that Grishko recovered for a long time after suffering a coronavirus infection, which he suffered a year ago.
The artist was born on November 12, 1951 in the city of Yasinovataya, Donetsk region. The future director and actor received his education in Leningrad. After that, he stayed to live and work in the theater in Russia.
