Stonehenge will be restored for the first time in 60 years

The Stonehenge architectural monument will be closed for repairs for the first time in 60 years.

According to The Independent, experts have identified erosion and damage to the joints between horizontal and vertical stones of Stonehenge, due to for which the decision was made to restore.

“ Stonehenge is unique among such structures thanks to the overhead stones-lintels and special connections '', “ mdash; noted the specialist.
