Stole ambulance during arrest: Jerusalem resident charged

The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against an East Jerusalem resident who fled in an ambulance while trying to arrest him. Maariv reports. He is charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, causing bodily harm, assaulting a civil servant, stealing a car and intentionally endangering people's lives. A demand has been made to extend the period of his detention.
