Steven Spielberg: hate and anti-Semitism go hand in hand
|News » Life Style
Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg commented on the rampage of anti-Semitism in the United States and around the world.
He gave the corresponding interview to The Late Show.
“Not once since the days of Germany in the 1930s have I seen such that there was no anti-Semitism. On the contrary, he stands with his hands on his hips, like Hitler and Mussolini, as if encouraging us to challenge him,” he stressed.
According to Spielberg, over the years, especially in 2014-2016 became “a sort of club membership.”
“And hate and anti-Semitism go hand in hand, you can't separate one from the other,” he added.
Despite the sad trend around the world, the legendary director still does not believe that anti-Semitism can win.
