Stephen King's novel The Talisman will finally get a film adaptation, the showrunners of the series "Very strange things" Matt and Ross Duffer.

The film adaptation will be made in the form of a multi-episode show.

Stranger Things showrunners will work in collaboration with the video service Netflix, as well as Paramount Television and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment.

It is worth noting that Spielberg was the first. who got the rights to “Talisman” before it came out in 1982.

“It's a huge book, it's really big, and I don't think it would ever make a good movie. Also, until recently, it would not have been effective on television. Now we are in a new era where TV shows look and feel like movies because of the big budgets. So, something like “Talisman”, which was impossible 5 years ago, is now quite real, – said Matt Duffer.
