Legendary Star Trek screenwriter dies at 98 1979 issue of Harold Livingston. It is reported by Variety. Livingston was an American writer with Jewish roots. Before starting his career as a “master of the pen”, he served in the Israeli Air Force and participated in the Israeli War of Independence. He was also the author of such films as "Mission Impossible", "Magician" and “The Six Million Dollar Man.”
