 Spain: FBI top 10 most wanted man arrested

Spanish police have announced the arrest of a man on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list who broke into a hotel in Madrid under an assumed name.

Michael James Pratt, a New Zealand citizen, was sentenced to life in prison for production of pornographic content involving minors, exploitation and sexual abuse between 2012 and 2019.

This activity brought him more than $17 million in profit .

This is the first time a wanted person on the list has been arrested in Spain. Only 57 previously listed wanted individuals were caught outside of US jurisdiction.
