South Korean First Lady Kim Kyeon-hee spoke out against the country's controversial and controversial habit of eating dog meat.

According to The Straits Time, Kim Keon Hee is a well-known animal lover, and she and her husband have four dogs and three cats.

“I hope the government gets concrete results on animal cruelty. Ultimately, no dog meat is a form of respect for man's closest friend and respect for life,” South Korea's first lady said.

She also warned that dogs were raised for consumption in unsanitary conditions. Kim Keong Hee called on the government to help dog dealers change jobs to end the industry.
