 South Africa: Cause of death of young people in a bar remains a mystery

A preliminary toxicological report on the death of a youth in a bar in the city of East London (South Africa) turned out to be inconclusive.

Tests conducted in a laboratory in Cape Town showed that The victims had alcohol and carbon monoxide, but not at lethal levels.

According to the Air Force, methanol was also found in the blood of the victims. More tests are currently being carried out to determine the level of methanol.

Recall that a month ago, more than 20 people aged 13 to 20 were found dead in a bar. The owner of the bar and two of his employees were accused of violation of the rules for the sale of alcohol.
