SlovoNovo Free Culture Forum was opened in the Tel Aviv Museum of the Jewish People of the ANU with the support of the NADAV Foundation.
Founded by gallery owner and publicist Marat Gelman in 2018 in Montenegro forum this year registered in Israel. Israel – the country that has received and continues to receive representatives of culture from Russia and Ukraine since the start of the war in Ukraine has turned out to be a kind of hub, a center where you can breathe and speak out about what is happening.

So, Leonid Parfyonov has already spoken at the forum, who showed his film “Russian Georgians – 2″, Leonid Nevzlin, who presented his new book “Remaining in the Minority”, writer Mikhail Shishkin with an anti-war essay, round tables, poetry readings with the participation of Bakhyt Kenzheev, Vladimir Gandelsman, Konstantin Rubakhin, Dmitry Bykov, Andrey Orlov (Orlusha), Igor Irteniev, Lev Rubinshtein and others.

The exhibition “Back to the Future” by Alexander Melamid, Mikhail Grobman “Covers, Visual Poems”, Andrey Bilzho “I See It This Way” opened. and Konstantin Benkovich “Dystopia”. A concert was held by pianist Polina Osetinskaya and Boris Grebenshchikov with the participation of Andrey Makarevich.
The first evening of the forum ended with a gala dinner, where all the participants, organizers and guests gathered, among whom one could see Alla Pugacheva, Maxim Galkin, Andrey Makarevich and Boris Grebenshchikov .
