A new feature has been added to Microsoft's Skype communications service, which is currently available in some countries and with some restrictions.
US residents can now make emergency calls using Skype to 911 directly from your computer. At the same time, the application has learned to automatically report the location of the caller to the rescue services, if necessary.
This service also works in Australia, Great Britain, Denmark and Finland. It allows you to call for help when the cellular network or landline phone line is out of order, but the Internet connection continues to function.
If an emergency call is made outside the country or region specified in the account, it may come to the wrong address .
