Six employees of the UN humanitarian mission, including a foreigner, were kidnapped in Yemen.

< br /> The foreigners were seized in the Abyan province in the south of the country by a group of armed men as they were returning to Aden. It is specified that the military police fighters accompanying them were taken along with them in an unknown direction.
“The extremists are trying to agree on the exchange of hostages for their accomplices, who were previously arrested by the forces of the Southern Transitional Council. The STC has already accused the international association “Muslim Brotherhood” of involvement in this incident, – the statement said.
It is specified that the UN representatives were in the province on a working trip to study the humanitarian situation in Abyan.
