“Shufersal” removes popular cookies from sale: the reason is named

Shufersal supermarket chain recalls cookies it sells under its own brand due to concerns about nylon fibers in products. The statement, released on May 1, indicated that fibers may have been accidentally introduced into the baked goods during production. Products will be withdrawn from stores as a precautionary measure. In particular, Shufersal petit beurre biscuits (500 g) and Shufersal petit beurre chocolate biscuits (500 g), which expire from October 1 to October 13, 2022, will be removed from sale. “Products with a different expiration date are reliable, and their consumption is not a concern,” — said in the message.
