On Monday evening at the entrance to the Rambam Medical Center shooting was heard in Haifa.
As it turned out, these were warning shots in the air, which were fired by a hospital guard after noticing a suspicious person.
According to The Times of Israel, the incident occurred in a hospital parking lot after a suspicious person refused to identify himself to security.
The suspect tried to escape when one of the guards fired shots into the air. The police soon arrived at the scene and took the suspect into custody. He was unarmed and taken in for questioning.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to press reports, the suspect was identified as a 24-year-old resident of the northern Arab village of Kfar- Misr.
