 Carmel shooting: search for terrorist continues

Last night, Israeli security forces, including the IDF, the Maghaw and the Shin Bet, operated in the settlements of Judea and Samaria as part of a large-scale Operation Breakwater.

The operations were held in the villages of Jaba, Kfar Rai, Baita, Siluad and other settlements. According to the press service of the IDF, clashes occurred during some of the operations, but there were no casualties among Israeli soldiers.

Over the past night, Israeli security forces detained 17 suspected terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were also confiscated.

Separately, the IDF commented on yesterday's events in the village of Carmel.

As reported, last night, suspicions of terrorists infiltrating Carmel were announced. Later there was information about the shooting. One person was injured as a result of the incident.
