Over the weekend, Shin Bet officers contacted the Jerusalem police and asked to remove the seals from the house of the family of the terrorist Hossein Karake, who committed a bloody terrorist attack in the Ramot district about two weeks ago.
Shin Bet indicates that the house where the terrorist lived was rented. Shin Bet also stated that the terrorist was mentally ill – there is no reason to punish the family. Ben-Gvir ordered the police not to follow this order.
According to Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, members of the terrorist's family knew about his intention to commit a terrorist attack, it became known from the terrorist's will, so they also deserve punishment . He added that if the Shin Bet insists on a forced removal of the seal, then they can turn to elements of the home front command, which also have the means to carry out this task.
As a result of an attack carried out about two weeks ago in the area Ramot, a few hours before Shabbat, Alter Shlomo Lederman, a recently married 20-year-old, and brothers Yakov Yisrael and Asher Menachem Pali, aged 5 and 7, were killed. Several other people, including the father of the Pali brothers, were injured to varying degrees.
