Israeli Police Chief Yaakov Shabtai issued an order in connection with the rape of a woman in Gedera.
In particular, he demanded that the Commander of the Central District send personnel and all the necessary technical means for the speedy arrest of the suspect.
“The police will turn over every stone so that the investigation can begin as soon as possible. I undertake to bring the suspect to justice,” Shabtai said.
It should be reminded that on the night of January 3, in Gedera, an unidentified man entered the house and raped a woman while her children were sleeping in the next room. The victim was taken to the hospital, and the rapist fled. The mayor of the city accused the police of incompetence.
