According to the UN, 15 million people in Sudan are facing acute food insecurity.
The crisis is reportedly driven by the complex effects of climate change, political unrest and growth world food prices.
The UN forecast is that by the end of the year, hunger could affect 18 million people in Sudan, according to Africa News.
