On Wednesday, March 1, during clashes during a protest in Tel Aviv, several policemen were injured.
This was announced by the head of the Israeli police, Kobi Shabtai, after conducting a situational assessment.
“Today, several police officers were injured as a result of violence by demonstrators. We will punish all those responsible. Violence against police officers, such as throwing stones and other objects, is crossing the line for me. We will not allow this,” he stressed.
Shabtai assured that the police would not be against freedom of speech and protests if the demonstrators did not damage property or government symbols.
