Scientists have found a way to create a vaccine against all COVID strains

Chinese scientists from the Institute of Virology and Zhongshan School of Medicine in Guangzhou have discovered an antibody to develop a universal vaccine against COVID-19.

According to them, a monoclonal antibody 35B5 can effectively neutralize various strains of coronavirus, writes the profile resource bioRxiv.

It is reported that the 35B5 antibody was detected during experiments using a cryoelectron microscope. In particular, it acts exclusively on a unique part of the coronavirus that does not change during the mutation process.

Scientists believe that this fact will create a universal vaccine that will protect against various strains, including the recently identified Omicron. It is also specified that the 35B5 antibody was obtained from the blood of a patient who had a severe illness.

As a reminder, today it is already known that Omicron; spread to almost 20 countries around the world.
