Scientists: Dogs Distinguish Languages

Scientists: dogs distinguish languages

Hungarian scientists conducted an interesting experiment and found out that dogs distinguish languages.

During the research, scientists recorded the brain activity of pets using functional magnetic resonance imaging. While the dogs lay in the apparatus, they played the audiobook “The Little Prince” in Hungarian and Italian.

The results of the experiment showed that the dog's brain reacts differently to the sound of native and foreign speech.
