Lives saved: Lapid rewarded men who stopped terrorist < /p>

Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid met with Haim Naim and Meshi Ben Ami, two civilians who helped stop a terrorist attack in Jerusalem yesterday.

Lapid awarded both men with certificates of honor.

“It's hard to imagine, but if it weren't for you two, civilians would have died. You saved lives. It's a civic duty. Very few people have the fortitude and courage to respond at the same time. The terrorist started to strike and you, Chaim, threw a stone at him and knocked him down, and you, Meshi, used your weapon and neutralized him. It was bold and very impressive,” the Prime Minister said.
