On December 4, Samoa, a state in Polynesia, was rocked by an earthquake of magnitude 6.9. The US Geological Survey reports. Tremors were felt in the capital of the country in Oceania, Apia. The hearth lay at a depth of 36 kilometers. There was a tsunami warning. Information about the victims and destruction has not yet been received.
