He was confident that under the new President Vladimir Zelensky all the old officials have to leave.
The ex-President of Georgia and former head of the Odessa regional state administration, Mikheil Saakashvili said that they do not hold resentment for the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
On the question of the journalist, whether he will communicate with Avakov after the conflict, Saakashvili replied that he did not resent him.
“I was offended by Poroshenko. Because he had a personal relationship and to me Poroshenko promised a lot of things. The powers, financing,… With Avakov I have not had such relations. Avakov I never promised anything”, — Saakashvili said.
The former head of the Odessa regional state administration added that he had a conflict with the government.
“Yatsenyuk is so smart, he didn’t do anything, and he asked Avakov Avakov defended their government from my attacks. It’s not a personal insult to Avakov, I’m against that system, which is part of Avakov,” — said Saakashvili.
At the same time, he is confident that under the new President Vladimir Zelensky all the old officials have to leave, given Avakov.
“I think I liked that he took no part in the fraud. But everything old must go. Now Zelensky is hope and a new,” — concluded Saakashvili.
Earlier it was reported that after returning to Ukraine, Saakashvili said that he wants with the team of the new President to participate in “building a new Ukraine”.
